The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science provides a broad understanding of computer basics, by learning the theory, design, development, and application of computers. You can build on classroom learning and gain work experience through Co-op opportunities.

Students must be admitted into Bachelor of Science to pursue this program. 

1. High school graduation or equivalent

2. English 12 or equivalent

3. Minimum six academic/non-academic Grade 12 courses (recommended)

4. Pre-calculus 12 or equivalent (67%)

5. One of:
    - Anatomy and Physiology 12
    - Chemistry 12 
    - Environmental Science 12
    - Geology 12
    - Physics 12
    - Equivalent

6. Chemistry 11

7. Grades presented in all relevant academic Grade 11 and Grade 12 courses that fall under these subject categories* will be looked at:
    - Language Arts
    - Mathematics & Computation
    - Sciences 
        - *Note: There is no minimum number of courses required for admission, but you are encouraged to challenge yourself with a substantial number of courses that are relevant to your intended area of study.

1. Students can pursue a Major, Minor or Honours within the Bachelor of Science degree. While coursework usually starts in the first year, you are encouraged to declare your Major at the end of your first-year undergraduate study in order to take the prerequisite second-year courses.
