EducationPlannerBC supports a student’s journey through post-secondary in British Columbia by connecting education to careers and providing resources to help improve access and inform decision-making. 

As B.C.’s centralized post-secondary application and data exchange service, we help students discover program and skills training opportunities, explore career paths, and easily apply to post-secondary institutions across the province. We work with school and community partners to guide students through the planning and application process using EducationPlannerBC.

During the 2025/26 school year, EducationPlannerBC reached over 40,000 students, parents and supporters, teachers, and counsellors through presentations, high school career fairs, community outreach sessions, and events.

Together, with our partners, we continue to develop a path forward to support learning and growth within our province. Thank you for your important role in working together to make a difference in the lives of students across B.C.

Our presentations for grade 10, 11, and 12 students feature an interactive EducationPlannerBC website tour and cover various post-secondary topics, including credentials, program and career planning, financial support options, and applying to B.C.'s public post-secondary institutions.

Students learn how to use EducationPlannerBC's tools and resources throughout their planning, searching, and applying stages. 

Presentations are typically 1 hour in length and are suitable for both small and large groups in classroom or assembly settings. We offer our presentations virtually and in-person. Presentations have no associated cost.

We offer our high school presentations in French to students enrolled in Francophone and French Immersion programs. In addition to covering the post-secondary information shared in our standard presentations, the French presentation explores options to continue studying in French after high school, bursaries & awards, and career resources.

Every year, high schools, school districts, community groups, and organizations host events that inspire students and introduce them to a range of career options and resources available to support their journey. EducationPlannerBC participates in these events as an exhibitor and workshop presenter.
