Overview
The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art, Performance, and Cinema Studies explores the fine and performing arts, with a focus on visual culture. You’ll start with a history of the arts and move on through critical theory, thematic topics or curating. You'll investigate art and culture with attention to the historically changing forms of class, gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality and aesthetics. Additionally, you will partake in two introductory studio courses from a multidisciplinary range of choices; these provide the experience of the creative process in dance, music, theatre, video or visual art. This degree will prepare you for a variety of jobs in the arts, film, or a graduate degree.
