The Dental Assistant Certificate combines face-to-face and online learning practice and clinical based training to prepare you for a career as a Dental Assistant. You must be prepared to attend practica which may take place in communities other than Cranbrook. You are responsible for arranging their own transportation and for travel and living expenses. The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada, hence graduates are eligible for registration with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. You are required to write the National Dental Assisting Examining Board exam prior to registering with the College of Dental Surgeons of B.C.
