The Bachelor of Fine Arts - Theatre Transfer allows students to be able to complete up to two years towards an undergraduate degree at VIU and apply to the University of Victoria, University of British Columbia, or Simon Fraser University for two more years of study.

1. One of:
- High school graduation (or equivalent) with English 12 (C) or equivalent
- Completion of a university degree
- Visiting student from a college or university (a "Letter of Permission" from the home institution is required)
- Transfer student from a college or university with at least 24 university transfer credits
- Mature student status (be at least 21 years old in your first semester) with English 12 (C) or equivalent

Note: If you don't meet any of the admission categories, you may be admitted as an "Unclassified Student" to register into university-level courses which you meet the prerequisites. You will register after other students, so course availability will be limited.

1. You may complete up to two years towards an undergraduate degree by taking courses in this Program at VIU and apply to other post-secondary institutions for two more years of study. If you are intending to transfer, check with the receiving institution for course transferability, admission and program requirements.

Admission Advice

Applications are accepted for September entry from the first business day in October to March. Early application is recommended.
