The Electronics Repair Technology diploma teaches you to operate, diagnose, and service the latest computers, televisions, and mobile devices for employment as a technician in the consumer electronics repair industry. Extensive workshop experience is provided to reinforce theoretical concepts, develop hand skills and achieve familiarity with a variety of electronic equipment and apparatus.

**All Applicants**

1. English 11 (C-) or   [equivalent](https://www.vcc.ca/applying/registration-services/english-language-proficiency-requirements/all-other-programs/) OR Academic IELTS 6.0 (no band less than 5.5) OR TOEFL 70 OR English Language Proficiency at the Grade 11 level
2. Apprentice and Workplace Math 10 (C-) or [equivalent](https://www.vcc.ca/applying/registration-services/admissions-and-registration/english-math-and-science-requirements/provincial-math-equivalencies/) or Departmental approval based on relevant experience will be considered

**Domestic Applicants**

1. Applicants who self-identify as Indigenous are strongly encouraged to connect with VCC’s Indigenous Education and Community Engagement team to learn more about VCC’s Indigenous Enrolment policy, application preparation/completion, program advising, and a range of other individualized services.
2. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older or a graduate of a secondary school. (Some exceptions may apply.)
