When you graduate from the Teaching English as a Second Language certificate, you have the skills to teach English to non-native speakers and are eligible to apply for TESL Canada Professional Standard Two certification. You'll learn the latest techniques from experienced faculty and get valuable teaching practice both in class and during a supervised practicum. All UFV TESL courses are offered online, so you can take classes even if you are working or finishing your degree. You can complete the Teaching English as a Second Language courses in two semesters.
