Overview
The Stó:lõ Studies Certificate is an opportunity for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous learners to get immersed in the history, language, and culture of the Fraser Valley's Stó:lõ people. As part of the curriculum, you complete courses in the Halq'eméylem language, Stó:lõ Nation development and history, Stó:lõ traditional ways of healing, Stó:lõ communication and worldview, and Stó:lõ social structure. Completion of the program can lead you to opportunities with Indigenous organizations, government agencies, social services, community organizations, and more.
