The Pre-Health Science Certificate provides the prerequisites needed for many health care program across Canada. Core knowledge includes anatomy, English composition, pathophysiology, pharmacology and psychology.

1. Meet the requirements for Open Admission 
2. All of the following is recommended for admission but not required for admission:
    - High school graduation or equivalent
    - Foundations of Math 11 (C+) or equivalent
    - Chemistry 12 (C+) or equivalent
    - Anatomy & Physiology 12 (C+) or equivalent
    - English 12 (C+) or equivalent
    - Physics 11 (C+) or equivalent

Academic Admission Requirement

1. Aside from program entry/admission requirements, there are also specific course registration requirements (called prerequisites) which are listed within TRU-OL course description. These courses must be successfully completed prior to registering in a given course. Some courses have recommended or required course prerequisites. Please check course prerequisites and make sure you are eligible before registering into individual courses.
