The Recreation Management Bachelor's Degree is the third and fourth year of a bachelor's degree for students who hold an academic credential or 60-credits of university transferrable credits and who are interested in pursuing careers in the Recreation field. You'll learn management theory and gain practical knowledge with specialized courses in recreation.

Option A.
1\. Completion of Recreation Leadership Diploma at Langara College

Option B.
1\. The successful completion of at least 60 credits of post-secondary coursework for which Langara awards transfer credit, including:
    - Minimum of six credits of university-transferable English or communications coursework

Academic Admission Requirement

1\. Supplemental Recreation Program Application Form, which outlines the student’s experience in the recreation field, academic experience, educational and career goals.

Additional Academic Admission Requirement

1\. All Bachelor of Recreation Management students are required to complete two courses:
\- RECR 1160 - Foundations of Leisure and Recreation
\- MARK 1115 - Introduction to Marketing.

These courses, which are included in the Diploma in Recreation Leadership curriculum, but not in the Bachelor of Recreation Management curriculum, are prerequisites for several Bachelor of Recreation Management courses. Students are encouraged to take these courses as early as possible in order to progress in the Bachelor of Recreation Management.

Admission Advice

Applications may be submitted starting 11 months before the intended program start date. Early application is recommended.		
		
The deadline to submit a complete application in order to be admitted for the fall, spring, or summer semesters is the first day of classes for that program-entry semester. A complete application includes a completed application form, application fee payment, and any supporting documents required. No applications will be accepted after the deadline date.
