Overview
Students who wish to develop two areas of interdisciplinary expertise may create a Double Major degree program of study by selecting majors in two disciplines within the same credential (i.e. a Bachelor of Arts). The BA, Double Major degree program can create a depth of knowledge and skills in complimentary fields, combining traditional classroom-based theory courses with those emphasizing essential and analytical skills and their application to problem solving. The many combinations presented within our Faculty allow students to open a wide range of employment opportunities. Some examples of recent double majors include Anthropology and Applied Geography, Anthropology and Psychology, Creative Writing and Psychology, Criminology and Psychology, English and Creative Writing, English and History, History and Political Science, Political Science and Sociology, and others.
