Overview
The Kinesiology Diploma is a two-year, 60-credit diploma offers training in how physical, social and psychological factors influence the health of people and their communities. You'll develop your foundational knowledge of the principles of kinesiology with courses in active health planning, biomechanics, leadership, sport sociology and human physiology. You'll also tackle more complex topics like training in exercise psychology, human motor skills and behaviour, mental theories in sport and exercise and health policy. After completing your diploma, you can continue your studies by applying to the Bachelor of Kinesiology program offered at the main North Vancouver campus.
