The Interdisciplinary Studies Bachelor of Arts allows you to assemble your bachelor's degree from courses in the fields of arts, humanities, social sciences, languages, sciences, mathematics, computing science and statistics, in addition to electives to give your education breadth. In your final year, you'll produce a captsone project.

1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. Minimum 60% or 2.0 GPA in:
    - English 12 or equivalent and
    - Two academic Grade 12 courses

Academic Admission Requirement



1. English is the language of instruction at CapU. All applicants are required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission. If English is not your primary language, you must meet the English language requirements for admission.

2. Note: All B.C. applicants must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS). Please do this as soon as possible. Current Grade 12 students can be conditionally accepted based on final Grade 11 grades or interim Grade 12 grades. Students can upload proof of grades (e.g. unofficial transcripts, copies of report cards) through EducationPlannerBC when applying to Capilano University. 

3. Aside from program entry/admission requirements, there are also specific course registration requirements (called prerequisites) which are listed within Capilano University’s course description. Prerequisite = course that must be successfully completed prior to registering in a given course. For example, English 12 (67%) or equivalent is required prior to registering an English 100 level course.
