The Student Mobility Preparedness (SMP) Microcredential provides a high-quality educational experience that supports students’ successful transition abroad and home again. Course design addresses pre-departure, intercultural skill building, and re-entry. Intercultural skill building develops students’ capacity to relate to alternate worldviews and engage in diverse cross-cultural experiences. Students’ experience in the program will be recognized with a Microcredential. The program supports the mitigation of risks to student safety and security of concern to administrators of institutions that conduct overseas work, study or internship experiences.
