Whether you want to work as an administrator in an office, pursue a specialized career in business and finance, or start your own company, you will learn skills to apply practical within your field.

1. Grade 12 recommended
2. One of:
    - English 12 or equivalent
    - First People's English 12 or equivalent
3. One of:
    - Foundations of Math 11 
    - Principles of Math 11 
    - Applications of Math 12 or equivalent 
    - Office Assistant Certificate plus Accounting Certificate, both with a "B" average, from CMTN's Applied Business Technology Program

Note: It's also possible to meet admission requirements through completion of the Office Assistant Certificate and Accounting Certificate from CMTN's Applied Business Technology Program ("B" average in both credentials)


Academic Admission Requirement



1. English proficiency is required for all students entering CMTN programs.  Please visit the English Language Alternatives page to see how this requirement can be met using the equivalent of English Studies 12 (pass). 

2. If you do not meet the program entry requirements, you are encouraged to speak with the Program Coordinator as you may be considered for admission based on other criteria. 

3. If you are planning to transfer to university or enter into professional accounting programs, you should have Math 12. All Bachelor of Commerce Degree programs in BC have a calculus requirement.

4. If you are unsure of the courses needed for program entry and/or for course registration, please contact a CMTN Educational Advisor. Advisors are available to help you access and navigate the courses/programs of interest to you.

Applications should be submitted as early as possible. Qualified applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
