Overview

The Local Industry Skills Training Certificate, Food Services, is designed for students who have a barrier to learning and/or employment. The program is self-paced, with classroom, lab and work experience components. Participate in a practicum with a variety of food service facilities serviced by Douglas College. The range of skills taught varies, but can include bussing tables, dishwashing, cleaning, salad bar preparation, basic food preparation, customer service, and safety and sanitation.
