The Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management (BCom) program is an applied business degree that will allow you to take courses in business skills, financial and managerial accounting, strategy, economics, leadership and entrepreneurship, venture capital, and more. The program is designed for those with previous experience who wish to expand their opportunities. Upon graduation, you'll have advanced skills in entrepreneurship that will open up fields like technology and digital services, financial services, sales and business development, start-ups, and others.

1. Completion of 60 credits from a recognized post-secondary institution, including at least 24 credits at the second-year level (B average)
2. Proof of proficiency in accounting and/or numeracy - one of the following:
Completion of relevant courses articulated within an eligible Block Transfer Agreement
Completion of one or more college/university level financial or managerial accounting courses (equivalent to 3 credits) (C or 63%)
Completion of RRU’s Continuing Studies Financial Accounting Fundamentals, (C or 63%) 
Successful completion of two or more college/university courses (the equivalent of 6 credits or more) in math and/or statistics; (C or 63% per course)
In some cases, a minimum of five years’ experience in a role that includes substantial financial management responsibilities in areas such as budgeting, bookkeeping, and/or financial statement preparation may be acceptable.
3. Proof of proficiency in written communications - one of the following:
    - Completion of relevant courses articulated within an eligible Block Transfer Agreement
    - Completion of an English composition or academic writing course at the post-secondary level (equivalent to 3 credits) (C or 63%)
    - Completion of RRU’s Continuing Studies Academic Writing and Critical Thinking course (C or 63%) 
    - Other higher education that demonstrates written communications proficiency, as determined by admissions or faculty adjudicators

Additional Academic Admission Requirement

1. If your accounting/numeracy courses were completed five or more years ago, you are strongly recommended to take RRU’s Continuing Studies Financial Accounting Fundamentals prior to program start.
2. If you don't meet the formal academic requirements for admission of third-year entry, your application may be considered based on a combination of your education, informal learning and the real world experience as per RRU's flexible admission policy. If you have less than 15 credits of undergraduate study, you need at least seven years of full-time work experience (with at least 3 years at a supervisory, management or project lead level).
3. In limited cases, alternative external course offerings will be considered to satisfy the requirement of accounting/numeracy and written communications. If you are considering a course alternative to supplement your application, please contact RRU's admissions team with a course link and outline for review.
