There are three ways to enter this program. Choose from ONE OF the following options:

**Option A. **

1. High school graduation or equivalent

2. English 12 (C+) or equivalent

3. Pre-calculus 12 (C+) or equivalent

4. Physics 12 (C+) or equivalent

Option B.

1. Completion of ESTR 047 (Intermediate-Level Essential Skills for Trades) with 67% or higher

Option C.

1. Completion of the following sections of the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT):

   • Reading Comprehension (12.0)

   • Number Operations (12.0)

   • Problem Solving (12.0)

   • Mechanical Reasoning (51/70, 6th Stanine or higher)

   • NLC Trades Math Assessment (70%)

1. Dual credit students may enter the program by submitting secondary school transcripts indicating successful completion of Grade 11, including at least a C+ in English 11 and Math 11. 

2. Students in the program must provide your own safety equipment including CSA approved steel-toe boots and glasses.

3. The program is affiliated with the following: Lethbridge College, Vestas America, Great Plains College, and the Industry Training Authority. 

4. Students are required to have a computer (laptop or other mobile device) with the minimum NLC computer requirements.
