The Adventure Guiding Certificate provides a comprehensive view of the adventure guiding industry with a focus on sustainability, law and ethics, and cross-cultural skills. Students will combine classroom learning with practical outdoor training experiences.

1. High school graduation or equivalent

1. If you do not meet the academic admission requirements, it is still possible to enter the program with department permission. You will be required to take the upgrading courses to help you meet all the prerequisites.

2. Admission to this program is based on 'first applied, first qualified, first invited'. Enrollment is limited to only 20 students. Thus, early application is strongly encouraged. 

Admission Advice

Applications may be submitted starting 11 months before the intended program start date. Early application is recommended. Applications are open on the first business day in October. Students are accepted on a first applied, first qualified basis. Early application is encouraged.
