The Master 500GT Domestic Associate Certificate consists of modular based courses that are offered throughout the year to prepare you towards the Master 500GT Domestic Certificate of Competency. After completing this certificate, you may be employed as a Class 2 Master on board a vessel of no more than 500 gross tonnage engaged on a near coastal voyage, a Class 2 Chief Mate on board a bessel of no more than 300 gross tonnage engaged on a near coastal voyage, a Master on board a vessel of no more than 3000 gross tonnage engaged on a sheltered-waters voyage, and more.
