Overview

The Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety Associate Certificate will provide the knowledge and skills needed for you to obtain an entry level safety position. This program meets the educational requirements of the National Canadian Registered Safety Technician certification. You'll take courses in occupational health and safety, accident causation and analysis, workplace hazards and controls, hazardous materials management, and more. Following graduation, you may gain employment as safety practitioners with their current employer or in their current industry, or as entry/technician level in the workplace.
