With the Massage Therapy Diploma, you can prepare to become an independent, successful and professional massage therapy practitioner. You can also gain advanced knowledge and practical application of the skills necessary to provide safe, effective and ethical massage therapy that meets the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) entry-to-practice standards.

1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 (C) or equivalent  

Academic Admission Requirement

1. In addition to the program admission requirements, there are also prerequisites for each course that are listed within the course description. Prerequisite = course that must be successfully completed prior to registering in a given course.&#x20;
2. Some courses in this program will require Math as a prerequisite. You may enter the program without Math, but you must complete one of the following Math courses listed below before or during your first-semester of study:
   * Pre-calculus 11 (C)
   * Foundations of Math 11 (C)
   * MATH 073 (C)
   * MATH 077 (C)
   * MATH 073 (C)
   * MATH 075 (C+)
   * MATH 072 (C+)
   * equivalent Camosun's Math assessment 
3. The following will be required upon acceptance into the Program and before starting the program:
   * attend a program orientation session
   * obtain Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification (must remain current throughout clinical education)
   * Criminal Record Check (Camosun will send you information on how to complete your Criminal Record Check after you've been accepted to your program)

Additional Academic Admission Requirement

Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is recommended.

If you are a current Grade 12 at a Canadian high school, you can apply for conditional admission between September and May.
