Overview
Through the Employment Preparation Certificate you will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and practices that prepare you for entry-level employment training. You'll explore interests, values and opportunities then set goals, and develop a learning plan to build essential skills for life, learning and work. Essential skills include the following: reading, document use, writing, numeracy, oral communication, thinking skills (such as: problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning, organization and finding/recalling information), working with others, digital technology use and continuous learning. You will explore lifestyle practices that develop resilience and that support readiness for entry-level work.
