The Education Assistant Certificate prepares you for career opportunities in the education system working alongside teachers supporting students with disabilities as Education Assistants, combining a range of courses that provide theoretical foundation and practical experiences. You'll study the areas of learning, development, communication, curriculum, behaviour, personal care, and teamwork. Opportunities to apply theoretical material occur during two three-week, full-time practicum experiences in Terms One and Two, and in May during a four-week, full-time practicum.
