The Pre-Health Science Certificate provides the prerequisites needed for many health care program across Canada. Core knowledge includes anatomy, English composition, pathophysiology, pharmacology and psychology.

1. Meet the requirements for Open Admission 
2. All of the following is recommended for admission but not required for admission:

- High school graduation or equivalent
- Foundations of Math 11 (C+) or equivalent
- Chemistry 12 (C+) or equivalent
- Anatomy & Physiology 12 (C+) or equivalent
- English 12 (C+) or equivalent
- Physics 11 (C+) or equivalent

Academic Admission Requirement

1. Online application form, supporting documents and a program plan are required for open admission. 

2. In addition to the program admission requirements, there are also prerequisites for each course that are listed within the course description. Some courses have recommended or required course prerequisites. For course registration and program completion purposes, please check course prerequisites and make sure you are eligible before registering individual courses.

3. If you do not meet course prerequisites, assessments and high school equivalent upgrading courses available.
