Overview

The University of Victoria (UVic) is one of Canada’s leading universities. FACILITY/SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: UVic has many athletic and recreational facilities: a two-level fitness weight training area; a large outdoor stadium; a 2,100-seat performance gym; an indoor pool; a climbing centre; a rowing ergometer centre; as well as dance space, dedicated TRX and spin classrooms, yoga studios and squash courts. Services for students include: a new Student Wellness Centre; interfaith chaplaincy; three child care centres; extensive on-campus housing; off-campus housing registry; student employment centre; and national and international student exchange program coordination.
