The Bachelor of Computing Science & Master of Finance Dual Degree program allows you to earn two degrees from top-ranked universities (Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from SFU, Master of Finance in Financial Technology from Zhejiang University), while taking part in an enriching, life-changing international experience.

**SFU General requirements**

3. High school graduation or equivalent
4. Have a minimum of five approved academic Grade 12 courses, including English Studies 12 or equivalent
5. Have a minimum grade of 70% or higher in Language Arts 11, English 12, or equivalent

**Required Courses**
1. Grade 11 - No specific Grade 11 course requirements

2. Grade 12 (at least 5 approved academic courses)
Equivalent AP or IB courses may be used in place of the following courses.

3. English - One of:
-English Studies 12
-English First Peoples 12

4. At least one of:
-Anatomy and Physiology 12 (Biology 12)
-Chemistry 12
-Physics 12

5. At least one of:
-Pre-Calculus 12
-Calculus 12

Academic Admission Requirement

1. All equivalent courses can be found under requirements on the institution's program website

2. Admission for high school applicants is a two-step process. Applicants must meet the competitive admission average calculated on specific high school coursework (shown below) and also submit the following materials through the DDP website:

    - A completed Statement of Interest Form
    - A resume outlining school achievements, extracurricular activities, and employment history if any, and
    - Names, titles, and email addresses of two referees. At least one of the referees must be from a teacher/counselor/principal who can comment on academic potential and maturity for the Dual Degree Program.

3. Admission is competitive and enrolment is limited. Decisions will be made on the basis of a student's admission average in combination with the required supplemental information. 

4. Internal transfer applicants should seek the advice of an Applied Sciences advisor for academic and language placement assessment.

5. The first 3.5 years of the 5 year Dual Degree are completed at the SFU Burnaby campus.

- September intake: High school applicants: October to January
- Post-secondary/transfer applicants: October to February
- January intake: August to September
- May intake: October to January

Verify with the institution for specific dates. The SFU-ZJU Dual Degree Bachelor-Master Program is open to domestic and international students, with the exception of students originally from China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, who must hold Canadian citizenship for a minimum of four years prior to the start of the Master's study at ZJU. A Chinese language background is NOT required for admission to the Program.
