This instructional program class comprises any program that focuses on the educational phenomena, practices and institutions within different societies and states in comparative perspective, and the study of international educational issues. These programs include courses in comparative research methods, country- or area-specific studies, cross-national studies of learning and teaching styles, international educational policy and development, and analyses of educational migration patterns and experiences.

This instructional program class comprises any program that prepares individuals to teach adult students in various settings, including basic and remedial education programs, continuing education programs, and programs designed to develop or upgrade specific employment-related knowledge and skills.

University professors and lecturers teach courses to undergraduate and graduate students and conduct research at universities. University professors who are heads of departments are included in this unit group.

College and other vocational instructors teach applied arts, academic, technical and vocational subjects to students at community colleges, CEGEPs, agricultural colleges, technical and vocational institutes, language schools and other college level schools. This unit group also includes trainers who are employed by private training establishments, companies, community agencies and governments to deliver internal training or development courses. College teachers who are heads of departments are included in this unit group.

The Fundamentals in Polytechnic Teaching Microcredential bundles three courses from the Associate Certificate in Polytechnic Teaching to provide participants with core foundational skills essential to teaching—an overview of basic instructional skills, assessment principles, and instructional strategies.

Fundamentals in Polytechnic Teaching Microcredential

The International Education Practitioner (IEP) micro-credential is uniquely targeted to support the demand for competent personnel in the field of International Education. Applied learning and skill development prepare practitioners to effectively support deans, directors and senior leaders of international education programs. Program topics include International Education Trends Past and Present, International Student Recruitment and Enrolment, Mobility for you and Faculty, International Student Adaptation, and Intercultural Dynamics in International Education.

International Education Practitioner Foundation Micro-credential

The Certificate in Adult Learning and Education (UGCALE) is designed to introduce the broad field of adult learning and education to those who anticipate being involved with or who may already be designing, planning, implementing, teaching and evaluating educational and training programs for adults as part of their lifelong learning and professional practice. You'll learn how to organize, conduct, and evaluate instruction for adults while also studying institutions of education and the context of adult learning.
