The Graphic and Digital Design Diploma (GDD) provides you with a solid foundation in four fields of professional practice:  brand identity, graphic/communication design, dynamic media, and interactive design. You’ll build a strong foundation in design process, resourcefulness, and conceptual development, as well as skills in critical thinking, typography, image making, content creation, and industry standard Adobe software.

Academic Admission Requirement

Additional Academic Admission Requirement

1. If you have previously studied at the post-secondary level, you must have a 2.0 GPA on all courses attempted.
 
2. The Graphic and Digital Design Diploma is a limited intake program with 20 seats available for program entry of each Fall on the Mission campus, and 10 seats available each Winter on the Abbotsford campus.
 
3. Portfolio requirements are available on the Graphic and Digital Design website. The portfolio is not due at the time of application, but must be submitted online for review by the portfolio submission deadline. Early submissions have priority in the review process. 

4. Admission is on a competitive basis. Completed applications will be evaluated at the portfolio review.

Applications should be submitted as soon as possible after the first day to apply. Once applications are complete (all required documents have been received), an application date is recorded. Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
