The Professional Specialization Certificate in Special and Inclusive Education is a professional program for educators who wish to enhance their ability to effectively teach every young person with a specialized learning need within their classroom every day.

1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
2. High school graduation or equivalent

Academic Admission Requirement

1. Valid teaching certificate
2. Two years (preferably)* of teaching experience or work-related experience with children and youth with special needs
3. Criminal Record Check in compliance with BC Criminal Records Review Act (upon acceptance) 

Note (*): Applicants who do not fully meet the requirement of experience may submit a letter describing how you have equivalent qualifications.
