1) Program Admission Requirements

  • Grade 12 graduation
  • English proficiency requirement:
    • English 12 with a C or higher, or
    • IELTS 6.5 (With no band less than 6.0), or
    • TOEFL 80 (Listening 20, Speaking 20, Reading 20, Writing 20), or
    • Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test: Listening 8, Speaking 7, Reading 8, Writing 7

     

  • Math 11 with a C or higher (Trigonometry and Algebra recommended)

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

English Language Requirement - Applicants must have proficiency in English at a level suitable for their desired program.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)

You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program before your name is added to a waitlist or registered in a program.

BC Transfer Student

If you have prior post-secondary education that you want to transfer to VCC you must make a formal request through the Registrar's Office by completing an Approval for Transfer Credit form and attaching all required documents. For more information call 604.443.8411.

Mature Student
