1) Program Admission Requirements

Academic

One of

  • Fourth-year standing in TRU's Nursing program or permission from the School of Nursing
  • Eligibility to take a 4000-level course
  • Current employment in a health care, criminal justice, social services or treatment facility setting
  • Graduation from certificate, diploma or bachelor's degree programs in health and human services
  • The permission of the Associate Dean or a designate


Admission Advice

Additional requirements include:

  • A Program Admission Form/Application
  • A Consent to a Criminal Record Check (CRC) form
  • Official transcripts, sent directly from the delivering institution to and received by TRU-OL Admissions approximately four weeks prior to course start dates
  • A Personal History form

Summary

English proficiency equivalent to Grade 12 English or higher.

 

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

English Language Skills - You must have adequate English language skills to participate in your intended program of study.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)

You must meet the prerequisite for your intended course(s) or the admission requirements of your intended program.

Out-of-Province

You must meet the prerequisite for your intended course(s) or the admission requirements of your intended program.

Differential fees and services may apply to applicants who are not permanent residents of BC.
