1) Program Admission Requirements

Academic/Non-Academic

1. Submit:

  • Online application form
  • A letter of assessment from CRNBC
  • Proof of employment as a Registered Nurse prior to coming to Canada and current employment as a licensed practical nurse or health care assistant
  • Official transcripts
  • Signed Requisite Skills and Abilities form
  • Criminal record check
  • A resume
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • A current Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • A current CPR Level C or CPR-HCP (Health Care Provider) certificate  

2. Complete a telephone interview with a nursing program advisor

1. You may contact Student Services for the program admission packages (includes checklist and other required forms).

2. Applying to the program does not guarantee admission, as program suitability is decided on a case-by-case basis.

Summary

English proficiency equivalent to Grade 12 English or higher.

 

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

English Language Skills - You must have adequate English language skills to participate in your intended program of study.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)

You must meet the prerequisite for your intended course(s) or the admission requirements of your intended program.

Out-of-Province

You must meet the prerequisite for your intended course(s) or the admission requirements of your intended program.

Differential fees and services may apply to applicants who are not permanent residents of BC.
