Inter-Institutional Block Arrangements

Graduates of a pre-apprenticeship program may seek employment as an apprentice. After starting their apprenticeship they normally are required to complete less technical training and fewer workplace hours than those who have not completed a pre-apprenticeship program.

Individuals are strongly recommended to contact the Industry Training Authority (ITA) at www.itabc.ca to confirm the number of credits that their pre-apprenticeship training may provide towards their total apprenticeship requirements.

Training in a program like this one can lead to different careers. Related occupations are presented to show potential career options, not definite outcomes.
