Admission Advice

1. Grade 12 graduations is recommended.

2. If you do not meet the program prerequisites please talk to the Program Coordinator as you may be considered for admission based on other criteria.

3. If planning to transfer to university or enter into professional accounting programs you should have Math 12. All Bachelor of Commerce Degree programs in BC have a calculus requirement.

English Language Requirements

If English is not your first language, you must have a TOEFL score of at least 220 (CBT), 83 (IBT), or 560 (PBT)

Inter-Institutional Block Arrangements

Graduates of the Business Administration Diploma are eligible for the following block transfer:

  • up to 30 credits within the Bachelor of Arts Degree - TRU-OL
  • up to 60 credits within the Bachelor of General Studies Degree - TRU-OL
  • up to 60 credits within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree - TRU-OL
  • up to 60 credits within the Bachelor of Commerce Degree - UNBC
  • two years of credits towards the Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management Degree - Royal Roads
  • up to 72 credits within the BBA Degree - OC

Final Notes: Minimum grade point average and other requirements may apply. All transfer requirements should be confirmed with advising personnel at the intended institution.

Block Transfer out of province

Graduates can earn a three-year Bachelor of General Studies Degree from Athabasca University (Alberta) by completing 10 to 12 more Business Administration and University Credit courses at NWCC. For full details contact program personnel or an educational advisor.
