Block Transfer within Kwantlen

Graduates may transfer into the third year of KPU's Bachelor of Business Administration (in Entrepreneurial Leadership) Degree after completing additional course work in Accounting, English, Microeconomics, Statistics and Marketing. (This option enables students to achieve two credentials in 4-1/2 years of study.)

Approximately 30 credits of the Horticulture Technology Diploma are also part of the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Integrated Pest Management Degree. Diploma graduates can apply these credits towards the BSc in Integrated Pest Management Degree.

Final Note: Minimum grade point average and other requirements may apply. All transfer requirements should be confirmed with advising personnel within the institution.

Inter-Institutional Block Arrangements

Graduates of this pre-apprenticeship program may seek employment as an apprentice. After starting their apprenticeship they normally are required to complete less technical training and fewer workplace hours than those who have not completed a pre-apprenticeship program.

Individuals are strongly recommended to contact the Industry Training Authority (ITA) at www.itabc.ca to confirm the number of credits that their pre-apprenticeship training may provide towards their total apprenticeship requirements.

In addition, graduates may receive one year of credit towards TRU's Horticulture and Management Diploma. Contact program personnel for more details.

Final Notes: Minimum grade point average and other requirements may apply. All transfer requirements should be confirmed with advising personnel at the intended institution.

Students may also wish to refer to the BC Council on Admissions & Transfer's BC Transfer Guide. This website offers complete details about transfer arrangements between post-secondary institutions in BC. This information includes course-to-course transfer opportunities.

Block Transfer out of province

Graduates may receive advanced standing in Olds College's (Olds, Alberta) Bachelor of Applied Horticulture Technology Degree. Contact program personnel for more details.
