Mature Student

At KPU, we proudly welcome students of all walks and ages. If you have not graduated from High School, have taken fewer than 24 post-secondary credits, and are 19 years of age or older, we can admit you as a mature student. Mature students bring a lot of experience and diversity into the classroom, and KPU will support you in achieving your personal and professional goals. International Student

Kwantlen Polytechnic University accepts applications from international students who meet the English Proficiency Requirement. All international undergraduate applicants are required to demonstrate English language proficiency prior to admission.

Block Transfer within Kwantlen

Graduates of the Environmental Protection Technology Diploma may receive 60 credits within KPU's Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial Leadership Degree or BBA in Human Resource Management Degree.

Final Note: Minimum grade point average and other requirements may apply. All transfer requirements should be confirmed with advising personnel within the institution.

Inter-Institutional Block Arrangements

Graduates of the Environmental Protection Technology Diploma are eligible for the following block transfer opportunities:

  • up to 30 credits within the Bachelor of Arts Degree - TRU-OL
  • up to 30 credits within the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) Degree - UNBC
  • up to 30 credits within the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Planning) Degree - UNBC
  • up to 30 credits within the Bachelor of Arts (Environmental Studies) Degree - UNBC
  • two years towards the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) Degree - Royal Roads
  • up to 60 credits within the Bachelor of Science Degree - TRU

Graduates may also advance to the upper level of BCIT's Bachelor of Technology (Environmental Engineering Technology) Degree or Bachelor of Technology Environmental Health (Public Health Inspector) Degree. As well, they may advance to the upper level of TRU-OL's Bachelor of General Studies Degree. For full details contact program personnel.
