4. Biology

  • Biology 11 (C+)
  • equivalent
Note: Mature students (at least 25 years old) are exempt from the Grade 12 requirement but must meet the course requirements.

Non-Academic

  • current Emergency Medical Responder Certification
  • completed Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certificate or meet the admission requirements for the PCP Certificate

English Language Requirements

Summary

One of the following (minimum score):

  • A C grade in English 12 or English Literature 12 or Technical and Professional Communications 12
  • A B grade in Communications 12
  • A TOEFL score of 560 (paper based), 220 (computer based) or 83 (internet based)
  • An IELTS score of 6.5
  • A LPI score of 4
  • A GED Language Arts Writing and Reading score of 450
  • Completion of an Adult Basic Education English course equivalent to DVST 0355 or higher
  • A grade of 3 or C in Advance Placement (AP) English Language or Literature
  • A grade of 6 or C in International Baccalaureate English Level A (higher level)
  • An undergraduate degree from an English speaking post-secondary institution
  • Other equivalents may be considered by the registrar
