  • submit a letter (about 250 words) that outlines why you are interested in the program and how you intend to manage your studies with your other responsibilities
  • submit the application package (application form, entrance letter, proof of educational requirements and application fee)

English Language Requirements

Summary

One of the following (minimum score):

  • A C grade in English 12 or English Literature 12 or Technical and Professional Communications 12
  • A B grade in Communications 12
  • A TOEFL score of 560 (paper based), 220 (computer based) or 83 (internet based)
  • An IELTS score of 6.5
  • A LPI score of 4
  • A GED Language Arts Writing and Reading score of 450
  • Completion of an Adult Basic Education English course equivalent to DVST 0355 or higher
  • A grade of 3 or C in Advance Placement (AP) English Language or Literature
  • A grade of 6 or C in International Baccalaureate English Level A (higher level)
  • An undergraduate degree from an English speaking post-secondary institution
  • Other equivalents may be considered by the registrar
