The College processes applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be processed upon receipt and students will be notified usually within two weeks. 1. Admission to all academic programs is selective based on the College's evaluation of your probable success.
2. Students under 15 years, six months old can not be admitted to any of the College's programs.
3. Acceptance into a specific program at the College does not guarantee advancement into higher-level programs. Advancement is based solely on performance in the original program.

If you are at least 19 years old it is possible to complete Columbia's Adult Secondary Graduation Diploma. Graduates may then enter the University Transfer Program at Columbia before proceeding to university.
Applicants for University Transfer Program at Columbia College must have high school graduation (or the equivalent of British Columbia Grade 12 graduation) with a satisfactory average on academic Grade 12 subjects.
