Application Deadline Advice

Applications must be submitted by March 31 for September entry. Applications received after March 31 are considered late and will be processed as space permits.

Application Fee: $15

Academic (minimum grade in bracket)

1. Meet UNBC admission requirements.

2. Complete the following courses or equivalents with a minimum C+ (67%) in each course

  • Foundations of Math 11 or Pre-Calculus 11 or Principles of Math 11
  • Chemistry 11
  • English 12

3. Biology 12 with a minimum B grade (73%) within five years prior to application for admission.

Non-Academic

  • Criminal Record Search
  • proof of CPR certification, level C 
Admission Advice

1. If you are accepted into the program you will be sent documentation and information about health status and immunization policies.

2. Admission is based on academic qualifications and available space.

3. Self-identified Aboriginal applicants who meet or exceed the minimum requirements for admission will be given priority for up to 20% of the seats in the program.

English Language Requirements

If your first language is not English, one of the following is required (minimum score):                 

  • A TOEFL score of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT) or 80 (IBT)
  • An IELTS score of 6.0
  • Completion of Level 4 English for Academic Purposes at CNC
