1) Program Admission Requirements

Academic/Non-Academic

1. One of:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have earned Grade 12 standing 
  • be 17 years old and out of school for at least one year
  • written recommendation from a local secondary school principal

2. Meet with an educational advisor to ensure you have chosen the correct courses or program.

Admission Advice

There are a limited number of seats for those under 18 years of age. For details, contact your local CMTN Campus or an Educational Advisor.

Applicants also have to satisfy CMTN's institution admission requirements as listed below.

English Language Requirements

Summary

If English is not your first language, you must have a TOEFL score of at least 220 (CBT), 83 (IBT), or 560 (PBT)

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

English Language Requirement - You must have proficiency in English at a level suitable for your desired program.

BC Secondary School (or equivalent)

CMTN admits applicants with any level of education. However, you will also have to meet any admission requirements of your intended program. For instance many CMTN programs have entrance requirements that include proof of secondary school graduation and/ or completion of secondary school courses.

CMTN admits applicants with any level of educational. However, you will also have to meet any admission requirements of your intended program. BC Transfer Student

You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program.

To have courses from other institutions evaluated for transfer credit at CMTN you must submit an Transfer Credit Request Form along with official transcripts from each institution attended. For more information about transferring credit, contact a CMTN educational advisor and review their website.

Out-of-Province Transfer Student

You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program.
