In Level 3 of the BCIT Electronics Technician Common Core (ETCC) program current students will rank the follow-up programs in order of their preference:
Entrance to the follow-up programs is competitive with preference given to applicants based on their GPA in the BCIT ETCC program.
If you have already completed the BCIT ETCC program, apply directly to your first choice follow-up program by submitting an online application.

Within two business days of submitting your completed application, BCIT will send a message to your personal and myBCIT e-mail addresses. All correspondence regarding your application will be posted to your online myCommunication account at my.bcit.ca. We'll send you an e-mail when a new message is posted. It's important to watch for these e-mails or regularly check your account online.
You can expect to receive communication concerning the status of your application within four weeks.
Applicants also have to satisfy BCIT's institution admission requirements as listed below.
You will need to meet the specific admission requirements of your intended program. Most programs require Grade 12 graduation with specific Grade 11 and 12 courses. Some programs also have non-academic requirements such as submitting a resume or participating in an interview.

Application priority is given to BC residents who are Canadian citizens and landed immigrants who have lived in BC for the 12 months immediately before enrolment. Second priority is given to out-of-province citizens and landed immigrants. Third priority is given to applicants who are neither Canadian citizens nor landed immigrants.You will need to meet the specific admission requirements of your intended program. The Technology Entry Program is for students who want to improve their skills in core areas such as communications, Math, Chemistry or Physics to meet the prerequisites of their intended BCIT Technology Program.
