Academic (minimum grade needed in bracket)

  • BC secondary school graduation or the equivalent with a C+ average
  • English 12 (C+) or International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placement equivalent
  • Foundations of Math 11 (C+) or International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placement equivalent
Admission Advice

1. Foundations of Math 12 is recommended.

English Language Requirements

Summary

If English is not your first language, you must have one of (minimum score):

  • Graduation from Grade 12 with English 12 (65%) or English Literature 12 (65%) or equivalent from a school in a country where English is the principal language;
  • Graduation from Grade 12 with English 12 (C+) or equivalent at an international school where English is the language of instruction;
  • Six credits of post-secondary first year English at a university or college where English is the language of instruction;
  • Graduation from a recognized degree program at an accredited college or university where English is the language of instruction;
  • A TOEFL score of at least 83 (internet based) or 560 (paper based);
  • An IELTS score of at least 6.5 with no part less than a 6;
  • Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Exam (CELPIP) score of at least 4L;
  • Michigan English Language Assessment (MELAB) score of at least 85;
  • Intensive English Program Certificate (IEP) score of at least 600

General Admission Requirements (All Students)

You must meet the admission requirements of your intended program.

  • Proof of graduation from a British Columbia secondary school leading to university entrance or equivalent with an average grade of C+ (65%) or higher or 18 credits of a Post-Secondary education with an entrance GPA of greater than 2.0
  • Official transcripts from all schools attended.

BC Transfer Student

You may apply for transfer credits if you have completed 18 credits with a 2.0 GPA appropriate to the BBA degree program.

Out-of-Province Transfer Student

You may apply for transfer credits if you have completed 18 credits with a 2.0 GPA appropriate to the BBA degree program.

Mature Student

If you are not a secondary school graduate (or equivalent) but will be at least 19 years old on the first day of classes and have demonstrated an ability to handle post-secondary courses (through work experience or other pursuits) you are eligible to attend Acsenda School of Management.

International Student

1. Grade 12 or equivalent graduation.

2. Meet Acsenda's English language requirements.

3. Math 11 or equivalent.

Other Student (including Special Consideration)

If you do not meet entrance criteria but can provide sufficient proof you can handle the material, such as completion of a GED, completion of a diploma program, or work experience, you may be granted permission to take up to four courses. If you achieve at least a 2.0 in each course, you will be considered for official acceptance into the BBA program.

Graduates will ladder into the third year of the Bachelor of the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at Acsenda School of Management.
