If you have completed some post-secondary studies at another institution, you can possibly earn transfer credits toward your program at UVic. Please refer to UVic's Transfer Credit web page. Discovery Studies
Discovery studies allows students to develop skills by taking a university course or two without needing to complete a whole degree. As a discovery student, you can register in up to three units of courses per term (that is two classes). You must:

If you haven’t studied at UVic before and are over 23 years old, you can apply to UVic's special access program. It’s for BC residents whose academic achievements have been significantly and adversely affected by health, disability, family circumstances or similar responsibilities.
