Admission Advice
1. If you have been out of school for more than three years, you are strongly advised to take the recommended mathematics assessment test to determine level of preparedness. 2. Trades math entrance assessment can be booked online.
3. A medical statement may be required from a qualified physician before or during the program. If this statement is needed, you will be contacted by UFV.
4. UFV offers appropriate upgrading/qualifying courses if you are missing any admission prerequisites to enter the Program.
Applicants also have to satisfy UFV's institution admission requirements as listed below.
There are two levels of English language proficiency:

(2) Degree/Diploma Level (This level of proficiency is required for admission to many university-level programs such as bachelor degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, post-baccalaureate programs, and graduate-level programs.)
