Applications can be submitted after October 1 for entering the following September. Once applications are complete (online application and all required documents have been received), an application date is recorded. Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Application Fee: $51.69 (domestic students); $22.97 (Current UFV students applying to a different program); $150 (international students)

1. Completion of a Provincial Certificate of Qualification or inter-provincial Certificate of Qualification in a trade
2. English 12 (C+) or equivalent or
3. Prerequisite for BUS 249.

1. Visit EducationPlannerBC's Trades Program Database for a list of ITA (Industry Training Authority) approved trades programs in BC.
2. Prerequisite = Course that must be successfully completed prior to registering in a given course.
Applicants also have to satisfy UFV's institution admission requirements as listed below.
There are two levels of English language proficiency:
(1) Entry-Level (This level of proficiency allows entry into some programs to begin post-secondary studies at UFV, but upgrading in English will be required before you can take first-year English or written communications courses and to enter many UFV programs)
(2) Degree/Diploma Level (This level of proficiency is required for admission to many university-level programs such as bachelor degrees, associate degrees, diplomas, post-baccalaureate programs, and graduate-level programs.)

All UFV applicants are required to submit current, official, transcripts for all secondary and post-secondary institutions previously attended. Photocopies, notarized copies or personal copies of documents are not acceptable and may delay the processing of your application.
If you have completed some post-secondary studies at another institution, you can possibly earn transfer credits toward your program at UFV. Use BC Transfer Guide to check course transferability/equivalency of courses completed in BC.

Post-secondary programs at UFV normally require BC secondary school graduation (or equivalent) for admission. However, some programs accept mature students (19 years or older on the first day of class) without secondary school graduation.
