Application Fee: $31.64 (domestic); $100 (international)
Academic (minimum grade)
There are three categories of entry options:
Option A. First Year Entry
1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. English 12 (73%) or equivalent
3. Pre-calculus 12 (C+) or equivalent
Note: If you do not meet the academic requirements but are a high school graduate or a mature student (at least 19 years old), you may still be conditionally admitted to the Program.
Option B. Third Year Entry
Completion of at least 48 credits or equivalent which meet the Lower-Level requirements of TRU's Bachelor of Computing Science
Option C. Second or Fourth Year Entry
Entry from some post-secondary studies (by completing a computing science diploma or other undergraduate program), and/or work experience in the Information Technology Field based on Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition.
Applicants also have to satisfy TRU-OL's institution admission requirements as listed below.
English proficiency equivalent to English 12 or higher is required for post-secondary level courses at TRU-Open Learning. It is students' responsibility to determine if you have English language proficiency suitable to the course or program you would like to take at TRU-Open Learning.
