Admission Advice
1. If you have fewer than 60 formal post-secondary credits, you may request an evaluation of your experiential learning through Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR).
2. In addition to the program admission requriements, there are also prerequisites for each course that are listed within the course description. Some courses have recommended or required course prerequisites. ACCT 2211 (Introduction to Financial Accounting) and MKTG 2431 (Introduction to Marketing) are recommended prerequisites for courses in the program.
Applicants also have to satisfy TRU-OL's institution admission requirements as listed below.
English proficiency equivalent to English 12 or higher is required for post-secondary level courses at TRU-Open Learning. It is students' responsibility to determine if you have English language proficiency suitable to the course or program you would like to take at TRU-Open Learning.
