Applications may be submitted up to 12 months before the program start date, in September. Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is recommended.
International students are advised to apply well in advance to allow for appropriate time for Study Permit processing.

Non-Academic
1. Competency in computer hardware and software technology, keyboarding, including Internet and word processing skills is required prior to entering the program.
2. Computer software knowledge is highly recommended.
3. Submit a questionnaire after submitting your online application to Selkirk College. This questionnaire surveys your interest, experience and current skill set in using web-based technology. The questionnaire is used as a guide for the School Chair and Instructors to respond to the unique learning needs of each student and cohort.
Admission Advice
1. Basic computer, keyboarding and Internet skills are not taught as part of the Web Development curriculum. If you require upgrading, please consult with the Program Chair before submitting a formal application to be program.

If you have completed some post-secondary studies at another institution, you can possibly earn transfer credits toward your current program at Selkirk College. Transfer credit is not done automatically. Students are responsible for initiating the transfer credit process. To receive transfer credit, you must submit an official transcript with your Application for Admission or Readmission along with a Transfer Credit Request form. A detailed course description/outline may also be required before credit can be evaluated.
You are strongly encouraged to apply for transfer-credit evaluation at the time of application to the program. It usually takes 4-6 weeks to process general transcript evaluations once all documentation is received. Complex assessments, that require consultation may take considerably longer.
